Why a dedicated app for co-parenting?

A shared Google Calendar keeps track of a care schedule, but not the agreements around it: who pays for the sports club, what’s in the parenting plan, or who already covered part of the school trip. Co-parenting needs more than a calendar — it needs a place where agreements, costs, and communication belong together, so there’s no confusion about what you’ve agreed on.

What’s in the app?

Clear calendar The calendar uses colors to show who has care of the children on which day. Schedules are easy to set up, and temporary schedules can be created when arrangements change, for example during school holidays. Daily or weekly recurring events, like a dentist appointment or football practice, are also marked on the calendar.

Expenses & settlement Log expenses for the children and split them according to the agreements you’ve made together. No more separate spreadsheet: add expenses, view a monthly overview, and settle up clearly between the two of you.

Day notes There are often things worth sharing with the other parent — useful, necessary, or simply nice to know. Day notes make this easy, including photos. Notes are shown for the entire care period, so they can be discussed at handover or read by the receiving parent in advance, without keeping separate notes in other apps.

Checklists Co-parenting also means packing. The app includes a handy packing list that’s easy to check off, plus space for one-off items — that dress for the Christmas dinner, that drawing to show grandma and grandpa — which automatically disappear from the list after the next handover.

To-dos A passport that needs renewing, a dentist appointment that needs booking: these are to-dos that can be added in the app and optionally assigned to one of the parents, with reminders that can be turned on or off.

Parenting agreements A separation comes with a lot of paperwork, often recorded in a lengthy agreement. To quickly find the most important practical agreements — like who gets first choice when planning this year’s summer holiday — these can be recorded in the app. Child support agreements can also be recorded separately, with an option for automatic annual indexation.

Access Invite the other parent to your group and manage it together. Children can also get limited access (calendar and packing lists), and it’s possible to add other caregivers. Adding extra accounts requires approval from both parents, with adjustable view or edit permissions.
